AP Ambassadors Opportunities – UVA Ugrads

AP Ambassadors Opportunities for UVa Undergraduates

Are you interested in Data Science and exploring the latest technologies for Big Data analytics?

Would you like your resume to include an end-to-end experience of solving a practical Big Data challenge faced by UVa researchers?

Regardless of your major, if you answer “YES” to these questions, then the AP Ambassadors Program is for you!!!

AP Ambassadors (AP stands for Automata Processing) are sponsored by UVa Center for Automata Processing and the Jefferson Trust.  Your job is to bridge the Center for Automata Processing (CAP) with research labs on grounds looking to accelerate their data analytics.  You will work with CAP Graduate Research Assistants and be mentored by CAP faculty.  We expect multiple peer-reviewed publications to result from the AP Ambassador projects.

The Ambassador appointment is 1 year, starting in the fall of 2016. AP Ambassadors will receive a $1,500 honorarium upon completion!
